Customs seizes 250 smartphones from passenger at Islamabad airport

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Customs officials Wednesday arrested a man at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport and recovered 250 smarphones from his luggage.

His cohort, however, managed to escape. A spokesman for the Pakistan Customs said that during search of the baggage of two people who landed at Benazir Bhutto International Airport through a private airline flight, 250 smartphones were recovered. Customs officials arrested one culprit while his accomplice managed to flee. According to a statement, the detainee was being interrogated.
