KARACHI: One more woman has been found dead in a hotel’s room on Tuesday, it is second such incident within last one week in metropolis.

A strangulated dead body of 24 years old woman was found on Tuesday morning from a room Sindhi Islamia Hotel situated near Bolton Market in the area of Mithadar old City area of Karachi.

According to the SHO Mithardar Syeda Ghazala, the manager of said hotel informed the police about woman’s dead body which was taken to the Civil Hospital by Police with the help of rescue workers for further formalities and autopsy.

Latter the deceased was identified as Samina wife of Shahid resident of Korangi area who had love married Shahid two and half years ago “they were residing in that hotel’s room on rent” said Ghazala.

SHO further informed that on Tuesday the husband of deceased made a call to the hotel’s manager from an unknown location and disclosed that he has killed his wife whose body was in the room. According to the police Shahid killed his Wife Samina by strangulating her, the police has registered initial report and efforts were underway to arrest the accused.

It is pertinent to mention that four days ago the body of girl hailing from Islamabad was found from a hotel room of Karachi’s Saddar area.

According to the SHO Preedy, Aurangzaib Khatak the dead body of 30 year-old lady hanging from a ceiling fan was found from Al Mustafa Hotel situated in Saddar area late on Saturday night, on the information police team reached on the spot and shifted the body to the hospital for legal formalities, the deceased was identified as Farheen w/o Shahmeer Faisal.

Aurangzaib Khatak told Daily Times that deceased was a Model hailing from Islamabad came to Karachi after a love marriage with Shahmeer Faisal two months ago and she was staying in the hotel for last few days. The husband of the deceased has gone to Dubai, he added.

The mother of deceased has reached Karachi and submitted written complaint that her daughter has been murdered by her husband.
