LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that the ‘minus one’ formula has already been applied on ousted premier Nawaz Sharif.

“Nawaz says he will not accept any ‘minus one’ formula, even though the Supreme Court has disqualified him from holding any public office,” Imran said.

He was addressing a public gathering today at Shabbir stadium in Khanewal, Punjab.

He also termed Prime Minister Shahid khaqan Abbasi as the most “powerless” prime minister. “You are the biggest coward I have ever seen in my life,” he said.

Sharing his vision for the upcoming general elections Imran said he will make Pakistan a respectable nation to the world.

“We will provide job opportunities on merit to bring development in the country,” PTI Chief said.

He went on to say that PTI would set an example for the world by treating minorities on equal basis.

He also criticized government for its failure to carry the Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) operations on the New York route saying, “PIA was once among the top airlines in the world and now the situation is disappointing.”

Commenting on the toxic smog engulfing the different areas of Punjab these days he said that he never saw such a smog in the country before.

It was the fourth public demonstration by PTI in past two weeks in Punjab. The frequent addresses are a part of PTI’s campaign for the general elections 2018.
