Dacoits have field day in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Dacoits and thieves had a field day in the city, as citizens were deprived of cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other valuables in 32 hits on Thursday. In Sadar Kamoki police station limits, armed men snatched Rs 53,000 and cell phones.

In Cantt area, dacoits took away an unregistered motorcycle and Rs 7000 from Farah. At Gill Road, bandits looted Rs 17,000, two cell phones and a gold chain from Kashif. In Gondlanwala, armed men entered the house of Nadeem and decamped with Rs 40,000, a laptop, cell phones and gold ornaments. In Ali Pur Chatha, Imran was deprived of Rs 73,000, three cell phones and gold ornaments at gunpoint. At Emanabad, dacoits took away Rs 47,000, a locket set and cell phones from Hafeez. In Ahmed Nagar, bandits snatched Rs 50,000, gold ornaments and cell phones from Saif. In Sadar Wazirabad area, robbers intercepted Sajjad and looted Rs 40,000 and a cell phone from Sajjad. In Satellite Town police station limits, Waseem was deprived of Rs 15,000, two cell phones and a gold chain on gun point. In Sadar Gujranwala area, dacoits looted Rs 23,000, a cell phone and gold ring from Naseem. In Cantt area, bandits snatched Rs 30,000, two cell phones and a locket set from Raja Waseem. At Awan Chowk, robbers took away Rs 33,000, a cell phone and gold ornaments from Mustansar. At Wahndo, Naeem was deprived of Rs 37,000, two cell phones and gold rings. In city Kamoke area, bandits looted Rs 20,000, a gold chain and cell phones from Faheem. In People’s Colony area, armed men took away Rs 30,000 and a cell phone from Nawaz.

In Baghbanpura area, robbers snatched Rs 65,000, gold ornaments and cell phones from Asim. In Khiali area, Nabeel was deprived of Rs 27,000 and cell phones. In Tatley, armed men took away Rs 19,000, a motorcycle and a gold ring from Mohsin. At Ladhewala Warriach, robbers looted Rs 34,000, a cell phone and gold ring from Sohail. At Wahndo, bandits snatched Rs 110,000 and a cell phone from Abdullah. In theft incidents, unidentified thieves swept the houses and shops of Aman Ullah, Waqas, Saleem, Naseer, Hafiz Atif, Shoaib, Nadeem and Moazam, while a car of Farooq and a motorcycle of Faisal were stolen from different places.
