Govt taking steps for development, integration of Balochistan: PM

ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sana Ullah Zehri called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House on Thursday to discuss progress of ongoing development projects including China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Balochistan.

Talking at the occasion, PM said that government is taking steps to make it developed country besides integrating it into national mainstream. The government is looking forward for progress in Balochistan and therefore work on road construction, communication projects and other development projects including Gwadar port is underway on fast track basis.

He urged that these projects will not only prove helpful in Balochistan mainstreaming but people of Balochistan will be main beneficiary from CPEC.
