ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority has decided to auction 39 commercial plots located in various sectors of Islamabad on May 13 and 18 in Jinnah Convention Centre. According to details, the CDA has also decided to make amendments in construction design after allotment of plots. The plots are located in I-8, G-11, G-11/3, F-11, G-11/2, G-10/3, I-10/3, I-11/2, Park Enclave, Diplomatic Enclave, H-11/4, G-11/4, I-6/2, I-11/2, I-11/1, G-8/1, F-6/2, F-8/3, I-10/2, , I-10/4, I-10/3, I-10/1, G-11/4, H-11/4, G-11 Markaz. A total of Rs 490 million revenue is likely to be generated from auction of these plots. Officials said that the decision to auction off the plots was taken to deal with the financial difficulties facing the authority. They said that the auction would allow the authority to generate additional revenue that would be utilised to provide more civic amenities to the populace.
