ANP leader Abdul Razzak, brother killed in Balochistan blast

HARNAI: Awami National Party (ANP) district leader Abdul Razzak and his brother lost their lives after their car exploded in Balochistan’s Harnai District on Friday, according to ANP’s information secretary.

Harnai District Commissioner Abdul Salam Achakzai stated that about five to six kilogrammes of explosives were planted in the deceased leader’s car, adding that both the ANP leader and his brother were on their way to Pishin to attend the party’s rally when their vehicle exploded.

ANP is set to hold a public rally at Taj Lala Stadium in Pishin today (Friday) where the party chief, Asfandyar Wali Khan, and other party leaders are expected to be in attendance.

Security authorities reached the site of the blast and are currently investigating the incident.
