Three arrested in Larkana, arms recovered

LARKANA: Larkana police arrested three criminals, recovered drugs and weapons during on operation near Akil village on Friday.

During exchange of firing within the limits of Akil police station, police succeeded to arrest three criminals Ghulam Jatoi, Sabir and Jam Jatoi, recovered two Kalashnikovs, a shotgun and huge quantity of drugs from their possession. Police also demolished hideouts of criminals which were used as safe haven since last decade.

The operation was launched under the directives of SSP Umar Tufail under supervision of ASP City Dr Muhammad Imran and DSP Yaar Muhammad Rind against hardened dacoit Duro Jatoi and his accomplices in Katcha area, who are taking refuge at their hideouts close to the embankment of Indus River.

The main objective of operation is to cleanse district from criminals and anti-social elements.
