ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to conduct intra-party election of the PTI in holy month of Ramazan.
PTI’s chief election commissioner Azam Swati briefed the meeting, chaired by party Chairman Imran Khan, about the procedure of the intra-party election. He also assured that intra-party election would be held within a month.
Azam Swati also informed the meeting that the PTI’s intra-party election will be penal-based in which 2.7 million voters will use their right to vote. Senior members of the PTI were of the view that intra-party election cannot be delayed further.
Speaking on the occasion, PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that the election process should be completely transparent.
