Two killed, nine injured in separate traffic accidents

KARACHI: Two people were killed and nine wounded in separate traffic accidents in Karachi late Friday, according to rescue members.

The first incident left nine people, including women, injured in Liaquatabad when a van collided with an auto rickshaw, rescue members said.

According to the sources, wounded people received minor injuries and were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The collision reportedly resulted from over-speeding.

In another incident, a car hit a motorbike near Sabzi Mandi on Main Super Highway. Subsequently, two people were killed in the crash.

The bodies were shifted to hospital for further formalities
