ISLAMABAD: Hot and dry weather will prevail in upper Sindh, South Punjab and some areas of Balochistan till Wednesday.
According to Pakistan Metrological Department, a shallow westerly trough is present over upper areas of the country.
Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at few places in Makran, Hyderabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu Divisions, Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir.
The temperature recorded in some of the major cities on Saturday morning are Islamabad 30°C, Lahore 33°C, Karachi 33°C, Peshawar 32, Quetta 17°C, Gilgit and Murree 26°C and Muzaffarabad 24°C, Dadu, Sibbi 47°C, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad 46°C, Moenjodaro, Rahim Yar Khan, Padidan, Jacobabad, Rohri 45°C.
