LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday demanded that the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report of Uzair Baloch be made public.

He was addressing a public gathering at Lal Bag, Sehwan about two kilometers away from the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.

“Uzair Baloch [a notorious leader of Lyari gang war] confessed that he killed several people on Zardari’s order and helped Owais Muzaffar Tappi to occupy 14 sugar mills illegally,” Khan said.

He lashed out at Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari saying.

He accused the former president of using police for threatening his opponents. “I want to ask, what you [Mr. Zardari] have done in your tenure?” he said.

On Nawaz claiming that he was disqualified as prime minister of Pakistan over iqama and not Panama case, Imran said that “iqama is a way of laundering money.”

He went on to say that the Panama case made the people aware of what he was trying to teach them for last twenty years.

He blamed the ousted premier Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Zardari for bringing the country under debts. “We don’t need to take loans from IMF, if we will put control on corruption”.

Khan went on to say that that the corruption is the core problem of Pakistan. “Sindh is the province which suffered the most due to corruption,” he added.

Referring to the delayed progress in Hudaibiya Paper Mill case against Shehbaz Sharif, he said, “We will not let any corrupt politician get NRO again” and added that the nation wants accountability of every corrupt.

While commenting on his government’s achievements in KPK, PTI Chief said that the poverty has decreased by 50 percent in the province.
