Nursing staff stand deprived of monthly allowance after lapse of 5 months

RAWALPINDI: Nursing staff all over Punjab province including Rawalpindi hospitals have not been paid monthly allowance of Rs 4,000 after a lapse of 5 months.

According to media reports, Punjab Government had announced allowance amounting Rs 4000 per month from January 2017 in the wake of immense protest demonstrations by nursing staff all over the province. Government also promised that from July 2017, it will be increased up to Rs 9,000 but despite passing five months, this allowance has not been paid to nursing staff.
