Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has announced a ban on Israeli-branded items and foreign beverages in the Governor House in Lahore. He made this decision due to the ongoing violence in Gaza, stating, “My heart bleeds seeing the oppression in Gaza.” The Governor urged the public to boycott any products that support Israel or non-Muslim entities involved in injustices.

In addition to the ban, Governor Haider Khan praised his party, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), for appointing Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as its young chairman. He congratulated both the party and the citizens of Pakistan during his meetings with senior PPP leaders. These leaders included former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Punjab Assembly Parliamentary Leader Haider Ali Gillani.

The Governor also expressed sorrow over a recent terrorist incident in Iran that resulted in the loss of Pakistani lives. He conveyed condolences to the victims’ families and called for swift action against those responsible. Haider Khan condemned any efforts to disrupt Pakistan-Iran relations.

Overall, the Governor’s actions reflect his commitment to supporting the oppressed and maintaining strong ties with neighboring countries. He reaffirmed support for the families affected by the attack and pledged ongoing cooperation.
