Girl shot and injured by brother

RAWALPINDI: A girl was shot and injured by her brother on Saturday in Waris Khan Police precinct. According to police, Saleem, a resident of Dhok Khabba, opened fire on his sister, Rabia, 28. “They had been arguing over a minor dispute when the accused pulled out a handgun and shot Rabia several times before fleeing. Rabia was taken to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital, where she remains in critical condition,” police said. They said that a case had been registered. A police team has been constituted to arrest the accused.

Two brothers killed in accident: Two brothers were killed in a road accident on Gujjar Khan Gilliana Road. According to police, brothers Amir and Usman were returning home on their motorcycle. “Near Chichian, they collided with a tractor-trolley parked on the roadside. Both of them died on the spot,” police said. Police said the bodies were later handed over to their family.

Young man abducted: A 24-year-old man was allegedly abducted from New Town Police precinct. Sheikh Shakeel, a resident of New Town, lodged a complaint with police, stating that unidentified gunmen had arrived at his home and abducted his son. “They took away Hamza, 24, in their vehicle,” he told police. A case has been registered.
