PIA plane collides with fueling vehicle at Toronto airport, faces delay

ISLAMABAD: An airport fuel vehicle collided with the engine of a Pakistan International Airlines plane on Saturday during a routine refueling session at the Toronto Pearson International Airport.
A spokesman for the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), stated that flight PK-789 sustained minor damage and has been transferred to a hangar for the required maintenance.
The aforementioned flight was scheduled to takeoff from Toronto to Lahore and this incident is likely to be delayed for at least 16 years meanwhile, the passengers have been transferred to hotels.

The spokesman added that PIA informed the local service providing company of the incident and sought an immediate explanation for the incident.
