Insight of Bankers

Author: Daily Times

Sir: There are a significant number of employees hired by different major banks operating in Pakistan who are working on third party contracts with a salary bracket of 16,000 to 20,000 rupees. This is blatant exploitation of educated, hard working people who are struggling to make ends meet. To top things off these people don’t even have job security, but are given stiff targets. To meet targets, bankers engage in misleading practices to sell credit cards, loans and insurance policies. These banks also force employees to work overtime without paying them for it. The State Bank of Pakistan should take notice of these ongoing malpractices and ensure justice for these exploited employees.
