Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday reaffirmed Pakistan’s desire to strengthen ties with Oman. During a phone call with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, he emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation in all areas. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the recent visit of Pakistan’s Commerce Minister to Muscat would open new opportunities for collaboration.
Shehbaz Sharif also invited the Sultan of Oman to visit Pakistan officially at the earliest. He highlighted that such a visit would further deepen bilateral relations. The Prime Minister conveyed his hopes for increased cooperation and mutual benefits between the two nations.
Additionally, Shehbaz Sharif sent warm Eid greetings to the Sultan and the people of Oman. He wished them well on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, expressing goodwill and strengthening ties. Sultan Haitham bin Tariq reciprocated the gesture and extended his best wishes to Pakistan on Eid as well.
The call marked a positive step towards closer diplomatic and economic ties between Pakistan and Oman. Both leaders expressed optimism for future cooperation and the continued strengthening of their bilateral relationship.
