According to the details, Mohammad Shoaib Ansari, a resident of Latifabad Hyderabad, had filed a complaint that the covers of all the drains in Latifabad No. 11 UC 118 are missing, which can lead to any accident, while the concerned authorities are also not listening to the complaints despite several complaints. The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh took notice of the complaints and directed the concerned authorities to resolve the matter immediately, after which the covers of all the drains were installed.
On the other hand, the complaint of Buland Khan, a resident of Juhi District Dadu, was also resolved. The complainant had taken the stand in the complaint filed with the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh that all the roads and bridges of the village of Maulvi Noor Mohammad Rodhani have been destroyed after the floods of 2022, while despite numerous complaints; the concerned authorities are not paying any attention.
In response to the notice of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh to resolve the matter, the Assistant Engineer Provincial Highway Sub-Division Dadu informed that the repair work of Juhi to Wahi Pandi roads and bridges is underway under the Asian Development Bank project, which will be completed soon. Later, the complainant expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh in writing for the completion of the repair work.
