ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday asked party workers to start preparation for the next general election.

He issued these directives while talking to PPP ticket holders from Lahore Division who called on him at Bilawal House Lahore.

Former prime ministers Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Mian Manzoor Wattoo, Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed, Chaudhry Islam Gil, Rana Farooq Saeed Khan and Rana Shahjahan were also present during this meeting.

Zardari said that party workers should continue working till the announcement of results of their polling stations. He said that the party had provided a young leadership to the country.

“Bilawal will hold public gathering all over Pakistan. The party has valiant and dedicated workers. No other party can claim this in Pakistan,” he said.
