LAHORE: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, reportedly, met with Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman on Tuesday.
The visit was surprising as the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), issued no statement to tell the media about the visit.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the meeting was held to discuss the bilateral issues and the military-to-military relations. Senior Saudi officials were also among the attendees of the meeting.
COAS has also met with the Commander of the Ground Forces Lieutenant General Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Abdulaziz on Monday. They exchanged views on bilateral ties in the meeting.
COAS held meetings with several key officials during his visit.
