It is unfortunate that the citizens of Turbat have turned to drug use to escape the problems they face in their day to day lives. The number of drug addicts in the city has increased sharply, and people are dying of overdoses every day. Drugs are stifling Turbat’s young generation and are casting a bleak shadow on their futures. They are being destroyed mentally, spiritually and physically.
It is my request to the Balochistan’s provincial government and the federal government that they take swift and harsh action against drug peddlers. Those making a profit through the destruction of our youth need to be stopped at all costs.
