Sri Lanka to play Third T20I in Lahore’s Gaddafi stadium on October 29

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi confirmed on Monday that the Sri Lankan team is set to play the third T20 International against Pakistan at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

Upon his arrival at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport after attending the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) meeting in New Zealand, PCB chief Najam Sethi said that the Sri Lankan cricket chief has confirmed that the Sri Lankan cricket team would play the Third T20 in Lahore on October 29.

Sethi stated that he has asked the concerned authorities to make proper arrangements for the peaceful holding of the match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Gaddafi Stadium.

Pakistan leads the ongoing One Day International (ODI) series by 1-0 being staged in Pakistan cricket teams’ second home the United Arab Emirates(UAE).

Four more ODI’s remain for both sides to beat the other and improve their ICC ODI rankings.

Sri Lanka won the Two-Test match series earlier by 21 and 68 runs respectively, meanwhile, on October 13, Pakistan won the opening ODI by 83 runs against the Lankans.
