Four lost lives in various parts of city

KARACHI: At least four people including a driver and school teacher were killed in different incidents on Sunday.

In Mangupir area 30 year-old Zafar Mehsud was stabbed to death by his own brother Hizbullah Ullah Mehsud late Saturday night after some disputes between both brothers developed.

According to the Mangupir Police the deceased was a school teacher, a resident of Mangi Goth while accused Hizullah Mehsud, a rickshaw driver, escaped from the scene after the murder. Police has lodged FIR.

Meanwhile, a coaster driver was shot injured by unknown gunmen near Hassan Square, Gulshan- e-Iqbal in the jurisdiction of Aziz Bhatti police station. He was shifted to hospital for medical treatment but he succumbed to injuries during treatment. Area SHO, Adil Raheem, told Daily Times that deceased was identified as Abdul Rehman . “Unidentified criminals were trying to snatch his mobile phone and cash on resistance he was shot. Abdul Rehman was driving vehicle with at least 20 passengers on a Picnic trip, Raheem said adding “It is apparently a case of street crime”. Police has registered FIR and body was handed over to his family.

Two dead bodies, found from a car parked in Mehmoodabad area on late Saturday night, were identified as Rashid, resident of Mehmoodabad, and Eid-ul-Nisa, resident of Delhi Colony.

The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Post Medical Complex JPMC for autopsy where medico legal officer took the samples for chemical examination to find the cause of their death.

The Eid-ul-Nisa, was a married woman and went missing three days ago whose missing report was also filed by her husband, police sources said. However, mystery still prevails over the cause of death as no marks were found on the bodies.

Police has suspected that the deceased were given poison and after they died the bodies were dumped in the car. Police lodging FIR has started the investigation.
