Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, a prominent writer in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, is renowned for his powerful and dramatic dialogue in television dramas. Known for his meticulous approach, he strictly prohibits any alterations to his scripts, choosing to collaborate only with a select group of actors who can accurately memorise and deliver his lines. Recently, Qamar has gained attention as the writer of two hit drama serials, “Gentleman” and “Sun Meray Dil.” The latter has garnered significant discussion due to its intense and dramatic narrative, attracting both praise and criticism. During a recent podcast appearance, Qamar emphasised his unwavering commitment to preserving the integrity of his scripts. He expressed that he views his writing as a divine blessing from Allah, making it impossible for him to allow modifications. He firmly stated that anyone who attempts to alter his work will no longer have the opportunity to collaborate with him in the future.
