ISLAMABAD: Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, amidst tight security, arrived before the accountability court today to appear for the corruptions case leveled against her and other members of the Sharif family.
Sources have indicated that around 1,000 police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel are to be deployed for securing the premises of the hearing.
State Interior Minister Talal Chaudhry, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, CADD Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, IT Minister Anusha Rehman, Senator Asif Kirmani and other senior PML-N officials are said to accompany Maryam to the court.
