Author: News Desk

Traditional khussa shoes, known for their distinct feature of fitting either foot without a designated left or right side, continued to attract buyers from far and wide, especially for weddings and other special occasions.

According to details, the skilled artisans had crafted these shoes with precision, determining the size using only their fingers. A craftsman highlighted this unique skill as a hallmark of their art.

“Every khussa is made with care, ensuring it complements the attire chosen for important events,” he said.

Buyers, often travelling from distant areas, sought perfectly matched khussas to enhance their festive outfits.

One buyer shared the appeal of this traditional footwear and emphasised how it adds a touch of heritage to modern celebrations.

Artisans appealed for better access to domestic and international markets.

They believed this would not only boost the economy but also promote the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan.
