The COAS made these remarks during a visit to a field training exercise near Narowal and Sialkot, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Speaking to troops during a field training exercise near Narowal and Sialkot, General Munir stressed that with the full support of the nation, the armed forces are fully prepared to safeguard Pakistan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The exercise, which involved various military units, including Armour, Infantry, Mechanized Infantry, Artillery, Air Defence, Army Aviation, and Anti-Tank Guided Missile units, focused on integrated fire and maneuver operations, said the ISPR.

The exercise also showcased the use of electronic warfare and information operations aimed at disrupting enemy communications and countering disinformation tactics in a modern battlefield, the statement read.

During his visit, General Munir was briefed by the Commander of Gujranwala Corps and the Inspector General of Training and Evaluation on the objectives of the exercise. The training is designed to enhance professional skills and refine battlefield procedures to address emerging operational challenges.

COAS Asim Munir commended the troops for their high training standards, operational readiness, and morale. He stressed the importance of continuous preparedness to effectively counter any potential threats from adversaries. This field exercise is part of the regular training activities conducted by the Pakistan Army, both independently and with international forces.
