Khyber Agency volleyball tournament concludes

KHYBER AGENCY: Hamad volleyball club defeated Khatir volleyball team with a margin of 3 to 1 sets and won the final of All Khyber Agency Volleyball Tournament, played at Hamza Baba Complex sports ground on Tuesday.

The tournament was organized by the agency sports manager in which 16 volleyball teams from the agency participated. The competition went on for three weeks and had a knockout format. The two finalists were Hamad Shinwari team and Khatir Afridi club. Those present at the occasion included: Khyber Agency Sports Manager Rahid Gul Mulagori as chief guest, FATA Volleyball Association General Secretary Khurshid Iqbal, FATA Sports Manger Ayub Khan, among others.

A large number of sports enthusiasts watched the final and applauded the players on exhibiting their talents. The game started in a thrilling way and players of both teams attempted to take the lead, however, the players of Hamad club excelled eventually and won the final by 3 to 1 sets. Nadir Khan was declared best player of the tournament.
