The federal capital has witnessed a disturbing surge in street crime incidents, with armed robbers brazenly targeting citizens. In a recent alarming incident, a senior journalist was robbed of his iPhone 14 Pro Max at gunpoint by two unknown motorcyclists in the Sector F-8 area of Islamabad. The incident occurred on Ismail Zabeeh Road, where the journalist was walking with two friends. The police have registered FIR (No 722/24) against the unknown robbers and launched a search operation. This incident underscores the growing concern of street crime in Islamabad, where citizens are increasingly vulnerable to daylight robberies and armed attacks.
