Sophia Bader’s short stories collection Rangrez launched at Alhamra

A book launch ceremony for “Rangrez,” the new collection of short stories by renowned writer, poet and celebrated fiction author Sophia Bedar, was held at Alhamra Arts Center the Mall.

The stage for the event was graced by prominent writers and literary figures, whose colorful thoughts and contributions added to the charm and dignity of the programme. Under the hosting of our insightful storyteller Sofia Baidar, the venue was filled with attendees who became a part of the celebration.

Chairman Alhamra Razi Ahmad congratulated Sofia Baidar on the release of her new work.

Sofia Baidar thanked Chairman Razi Ahmad and Executive Director Sarah Rashid for their support.

Renowned poet Abbas Tabish fondly remembered Alhamra’s invaluable services. Dr. Tahira Iqbal presided over the event, while other speakers, including Dr. Waheed Rehman Khan, Salma Awan, Dr. Najeeb Jamal, Hamida Shaheen, Bilqis Riaz, Bushra Ijaz, Neelam Ahmed Bashir, Amir Faraz, Shehzad Nayar, and Amina Mufti, praised Sophia Bedar’s work and expressed their admiration by reading her stories.

Sofia Baidar remarked that the past is for writing, the future is for pondering, and the present is for living.

Many people attended the ceremony and phrasie the book and Alhamra’s effort s for promoting Art, Culture and Literature.
