Pakistan gained international acclaim at the Asian Productivity Organization’s (APO) Annual Conference, “Conference of Youth Education and Future Work,” held in Manila, Philippines, on November 12-13. This distinguished event brought together 94 delegates from 20 Asian nations, showcasing innovative ideas and collaborative opportunities for future productivity.

Among the attendees, Pakistan’s delegation received special recognition, as Dr. Moneeba Iftikhar, representing Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), was named Best Delegate for her outstanding contributions. Her presentation highlighted Pakistan’s vibrant cultural heritage and the tremendous potential of its youth, earning her the prestigious role of delivering the Vote of Thanks at the closing session.

In her powerful address, Dr. Moneeba Iftikhar emphasized, “Peace is the foundation of progress, and Asia’s developed nations must extend their support to developing countries in the region. Together, we can prove to the world that we are the majority, with youth and youth’s potential serving as essential pillars for our collective growth.” Her words resonated deeply, receiving widespread applause from an appreciative audience.

The event further underscored Pakistan’s positive image on the global stage when a professor from Manila invited Dr. Moneeba to deliver online lectures to students at a Philippine university, reinforcing academic ties between the nations.

This accomplishment serves as a proud moment for Pakistan, LCWU, and the National Productivity Organization, reflecting the nation’s strategic vision and the remarkable talent of its youth on an international platform.
