A three-day-old body of a young girl was found in the operation theater of a government hospital in Punjab province’s Sialkot city.

According to police, an unidentified girl was allegedly raped and murdered, her body recovered from Government Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital’s operation theater. Sources, the naked body of the young girl appears to be 3-4 days old.

Her age is estimated between 22-23 years. Police have taken custody of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

After the recovery of the young girl’s body from the government hospital, several questions have arisen regarding who the girl is, who murdered her, and how the incident occurred. On the other hand, the hospital administration is refusing to provide their stance.

Since the incident, the Principal, MS, and other officers and staff have gone missing from their offices.

The hospital administration’s complete silence is being seen as an attempt to cover up the incident.

Earlier a woman, assisted by her daughter and other relatives, murdered her pregnant daughter-in-law, dismembered her body, and disposed of the remains in a local drain. The gruesome incident took place in the Motra area, under the jurisdiction of the Daska police station, revealing a harrowing case of violence within a household.

The victim, identified as Zara, was the daughter of Shabbir Ahmed, a police officer (ASI) residing in Gujranwala. Zara, married six years ago to Qadeer of Kotli Merlan, had returned from Saudi Arabia a month prior to her murder, where her husband works. The couple had a two-and-a-half-year-old son named Muhammad Shafay.

Reports indicate that Zara faced frequent conflicts with her mother-in-law and sister-in-law.
