Pindi Cricket Stadium to host Sri Lanka A and Pakistan Shaheens

Author: inp

The much-anticipated series between Sri Lanka A and Pakistan Shaheens will now be held at Pindi Cricket Stadium instead of its initially planned venue, the Islamabad Club Cricket Ground. The change of location follows a dispute between the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Islamabad Club management, which ultimately could not reach an agreement over the hosting arrangements. The Islamabad Club Cricket Ground, located just one kilometer from the Serena Hotel in the heart of the capital, had previously served as the venue for Pakistan’s series against Bangladesh A. Its close proximity to key locations, including the hotel, made it an easily accessible venue for both teams, providing a smooth and efficient security and transportation process. The location was also a boon for local residents, offering minimal disruption and convenience for the general public.
