Asif reaches World Snooker Championship quarterfinals

Pakistan’s Mohammad Asif has advanced to the quarterfinals of the IBSF World Snooker Championship. Mohammad Asif defeated Qatar’s Ahmad Saif with a 3-4 scoreline in the pre-quarterfinals held in Doha. In the quarterfinals, Asif will face Mohammad Shahab of the UAE. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Asjad Iqbal was eliminated in the pre-quarterfinals after losing to Cyprus’ Michael Jargyo, who defeated Iqbal 4-2 in frames.
