Punjab CM Maryam hospitalized after throat infection

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has been admitted to the hospital due to health issues, making her departure abroad conditional on her doctor’s permission. According to party sources, Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s health has deteriorated since yesterday, leading to her admission at the Sharif Medical City Complex, where physicians are examining her. Hospital sources state that Maryam Nawaz is suffering from a throat infection, and doctors have advised her to rest. She is scheduled to depart for London tonight. Party sources indicate that her journey abroad is now contingent upon her doctors’ approval. It is noteworthy that Maryam Nawaz has been suffering from a throat infection for some time, which necessitated her trip to London for treatment. During the treatment, she’ll be seeing her personal physician, and may even undergo surgery to address the issue, which has been bothering her for quite some time. This trip will mark her first foreign visit since taking office as chief minister.
