The University of Management and Technology (UMT) is pleased to announce the Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad (HSM) PhD Fellowship Program, aimed at promoting high standards of research-based Higher Education in Pakistan. This initiative will provide fully funded PhD scholarships in various disciplines including Chemistry, Clinical Psychology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Food Technology, Management, Mathematics and Textiles.

Under the fellowship program, admission and tuition fees will be completely waived to relieve the deserving students from the financial burden. Additionally, enrolled students will receive a monthly stipend to support their living expenses, enabling them to focus on their education and research pursuits.

President UMT Ibrahim Hasan Murad shared that the primary objective of the Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad PhD Fellowship is to foster a culture of higher education and research excellence. He also expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating that talented students will have the opportunity to pursue their PhD studies without financial constraints.

Mr Murad highlighted that promoting research-based higher education is a top priority for UMT. We are committed to elevating the standards of research-oriented higher education in the country, he added.
