Ex-MPA Ahsan Riaz Fatyana reaches home, LHC informed

Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday disposed of a petition filed by Ashfa Fatyana, mother of ex-MPA Ahsan Riaz Fatyana, for her son’s recovery.

Justice Ali Zia Bajwa conducted hearing of the case and wrapped it after learning that Ahsan Riaz Faryana has reached his home.

During the hearing Superintendent Investigation Cantt Bushra Nisar and other police officials were also present in the court.

Assistant Advocate-General Mohammad Farrukh Lodhi represented Punjab government while Assistant Attorney-General Mohsin Bhatti was present in the court on behalf of federal government.

During the hearing, Justice Ali Zia Bajwa asked the lawyer of the petitioner that the petitioner’s son reached home safely while you stated in your petition that the abducted person will record his statement regarding his abduction and police torture later.

The judge further stated that the abducted person is now recovered so the petition become useless. He further ordered the investigation agency to complete investigation on priority basis and disposed of the petition. The mother of ex-MPA filed petition for her son’s recovery on October 9, 2024.
