SNF welcomes court’s verdict against Nawaz

LARKANA: A meeting of Sindh National Front with Chairman Mumtaz Ali Bhutto in the chair has welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan against Nawaz Sharif and his family. The meeting simultaneously demanded accountability of Asif Zardari and his associates for looting public wealth and plunging Sindh into destruction.

The meeting demanded restoration of powers of IGP A D Khuwaja and reforms in police to depoliticize the institution. It condemned Sindh government’s action for preparing anti-National Accountability Bureau laws in the province that was showing there was no constitution which they termed as saving of their henchmen.

The meeting also demanded action against Sindh ministers, advisers’ massive corruption under article 62 and 63 and registration of cases against them. Sardar Munawar Ali Abbasi, Syed Akbar Shah Rashdi, Dr Safdar Abbasi, Tariq Nazir Shaikh, Aadil Altaf Unar, Qurban Abbasi, Mulana Raashid Mahmood Soomro, Moazam Abbasi, Asghar Rashdi, Maulana Nasir Mahmood Soomro and others participated in the meeting.
