Imran’s Bani Gala residence an encroachment: CDA

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has declared the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Bani Gala a violation of the zoning regulation, terming it an encroachment on Tuesday.

The authority has filed a reply in Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) in a case over encroachments in Bani Gala.

According to the report, Khan’s residence, along with 122 installations in the area, was illegally constructed. The authority stated that a survey was carried out with regards to order of the apex court and all 122 installations are needed to be bulldozed.

Installations in zone three and four fall in violation of zoning regulation, the CDA stated. Earlier, the top court ordered the PTI chief to submit money trail of his Bani Gala residence.
