Bilawal to open NICD in Larkana

LARKANA: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is expected to inaugurate National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease Larkana on Sunday (today).

Bilawal is expected reaching Naudero House in evening. According to scheduled, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and provincial Health Minister Dr Sikander Mahendro would speak on the occasion. Prof Nadeem Qamar, Executive Director NICVD Karachi will also deliver a speech.

A lunch has been arranged for the participants at Sambara Inn Hotel where tight security arrangements have been taken. NICVD doctors have already started carrying out angiography and other minor operations in the old building of cardiology department of Chandka Medical College Hospital since last two months but inauguration was being made now. So far, according to reports, over 150 such procedures have already been made by them till date. The newly constructed building of CMCH’s Faryal Talpur Cardiology Complex was still uncompleted. It was built with a cost of Rs 290.5 million.
