ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the parliamentary leaders of opposition parties in the National Assembly (NA) will be held on Tuesday to discuss fielding a joint candidate for the election of the new prime minister by the members of the Assembly at 3 p.m. on August 1.
The meeting will be held in the chamber of Leader of Opposition Khursheed Ali Shah.
According to sources Khursheed has contacted the opposition parties after the Supreme Court (SC) verdict disqualifying the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. Khursheed also called FATA’s parliamentary leader Shahjee Gul Afridi in this regard today.
