KARACHI: In an unusual incident a Father has attacked the whole family of his own son with multipule shots of gun on Wednesday in Bakhtawr Goth a far away area of the metropolis. The incident left a minor child dead and other four severely injured.
Police has arrested the accused who has said in his confessional statement that his son was not paying him daily domestic expenses which had enraged him.
Farasat Shah, station house officer of Sukkhan police station told Daily Times that the incident happened in Bakhtawar Goth a locality of Landhi near Qaidabad.
“We received information by residents of the area early morning that an incident of firing has taken place inside a house, our team reached on the spot and reported some casualties there”
One miner child got expired due to gun shot injury while his father and mother along with elder sister were injured and all were shifted to the Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment and legal formalities, SHO further said.
Deceased was identified as Mustufa aged 2 years while Nasir Gul 30, Rozina 28 and Madiha 5, were included in the injured.
According to the initial investigation accused Ziarat Gul after a brief exchange of hot words with his son Nasir Gul opened firing upon his son’s whole family including his Wife and two children.
Police managed to arrest the accused Ziarat Gul and recovered the pistol used in the incident .
Accused Ziarat Gul told to police in his statement that his son was not paying him money for expenditures and wanted to leave his parents to go to Dir in KP where his in-laws were residing ,both things enraged him.
Police has registered case against accused for further probe.
