Cheques distributed among displaced persons

KHYBER AGENCY: The political administration on Thursday distributed compensation cheques among 134 temporary displaced persons (TDPs) belonging to Tehsil Bara,

Khyber Agency. The TDPs belonged to the tribes of Bara, Malikdin Khel, Zakha Khel, Kamber Khel and Aka Khel. They received compensation cheques for 71 completely destroyed houses and 63 partially damaged homes. The compensation was distributed during a ceremony held at Levies Centre, Shahkas, Jamrud Tehsil. Additional Political Agent Mir Raza, Assistant Political Agent Muhammad Arshad and Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) officials were also present during the ceremony. The officials distributed cheques worth Rs 38.4 million: Rs 0.4 million per residency was given for completely demolished houses and Rs 0.16 million was given for partially damaged house.
