KARACHI: The much-talked about Dawn Films and IMGC’s first star-studded movie, ‘Saat Din Muhhabat In’ has gone on floors in Karachi after successful rehearsals throughout the month of July.

The film will star the gorgeous Mahira Khan, alongside Shehryar Munawar in leading roles, and will be their second film together after the 2016 blockbuster ‘Ho Mann Jahaan.’ This film will mark Mira Sethi’s big screen debut along with model-turned-actress Amna Ilyas’s second foray on the big screen. Aamir Qureshi and Adnan Shah Tipu will also be seen in titular roles.

The film, scripted by Fasih Bari Khan, follows a young man on a quest to find his true love in a crowded Karachi neighbourhood. Like all good love stories, he will encounter spiritual and physical obstacles that he must overcome in order to achieve his goals.

Director duo Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi have teamed up with renowned the director of photography Rana Kamran, who has given hits like ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ to his credit, and who rolled the camera with this one with the first shot.

‘Saat Din Muhhabat’ is slated to release in 2018.

Meenu Gaur is a London-based Indian director and screenwriter. She is best known for her 2013 Pakistani film ‘Zinda Bhaag’, which she co-directed with Farjab Nabi.
