RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Jawad Bajwa said on Friday that sacrifices of Pakistan’s security forces would not go waste.
Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor quoting COAS on his official twitter account lauded the country’s police and armed forces for their valiant efforts to protect the people on Police Martyrs Day.
“Police Shuhada Day. Salute to Suhadas of Police and their brave families from Pak Armed Forces. Our sacrifices shall not go waste, COAS,” DG-ISPR said in the tweet.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, said the entire nation is proud of police martyrs, who sacrificed their lives to eliminate terrorism, criminal activities and protect lives of the people.
