HAFIZABAD: At least three people were killed while six others wounded in car-van collision near Kot Sarwar Interchange in Hafizabad district of the Punjab province on Sunday.
Rescue sources said that a head-on collision between the car and van occurred on the motorway near Kot Sarwar Interchange, leaving two persons dead and seven others with life threatening injuries.
Following the accident, rescue workers reached the spot and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital where another injured succumbed to injuries, increasing the death toll to three. Doctors at the hospital said three of the injured were in precarious condition.
There was no immediate information about the cause of the accident and identities of the deceased and injured of the accident.
