Remembering Quetta blast

Author: Daily Times

Sir: On 8th of August 2016 Balochistan had lost a generation of lawyers including journalists and others in the carnage of Quetta. The pre-planned targeted attack on Civil Hospital had took the precious lives of 60 lawyers who were gathered at the gates of building houses the emergency ward.

For a long time extremism against lawyers is continued and plenty of lawyers have been killed without any reason. The lawyers and journalists are being targeted because they are the ones who utilize the power of education to bring changes and justice in the country.

Unfortunately, in Balochistan neither the journalists are protected nor the lawyers.

In this loathsome attack of terrorists so many mothers lost their beloved children who were their families right hands and hope.

We always remember the lawyers and pray for them that may Allah the Almighty rest their souls in peace, give courage to their family members and devastate their foes.

Sir: A day which will never be forgotten easily, a dangerous blast occurred in Quetta (capital of Balochistan) on 8-August 2016. The blast caused 70 people precious lives included lawyers, journalists, doctors and a horde of ordinary’s’. Sadly, the Pakistani Tehreek-i-Taliban’s faction Jamaat-ur-Ahrar claimed the responsibility for that suicide bombing attack which had taken place at the civil hospital of Quetta.

It hurts to mention that, the people of Balochistan still crying out such attacks. It was not the only attacked which happed in Quetta rather, after that blast again a unforgettable attack took place at the training center of Quetta where 61 Baloch police have lost their lives on October 24 2016. In present situation of Quetta still blasts are taking place in everywhere but government of Pakistan as well as the CM of Balochistan is not strong enough to control the attackers which had taken place in Quetta.
