ISLAMABAD: A hot and dry weather conditions are likely to prevail in major areas located in upper Sindh and south and central Punjab till next week.
According to Pakistan Metrological Department, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of upper Sindh, south and central Punjab.
However, rain, dust and thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at a isolated places in Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while at a few places in upper Sindh.
The temperature in some of major areas recorded on Wednesday were Islamabad 36°C, Lahore, Peshawar 40°C, Karachi 45°C, Quetta 22°C, Gilgit 19°C, Murree 28°C, Muzaffarabad 20°C, Dadu, Padidan 48°C, Sibbi, Larkana 47°C, Noorpurthal, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Moenjodaro 46°C
