First polio case reported in Chakwal

A 6-year-old child from Chakwal has been confirmed to have polio, marking the first case of the disease in the district. The National Health Organization verified the presence of the polio virus in the child. This case represents the 12th polio incidence reported in Pakistan this year, highlighting ongoing challenges in the fight against the disease. The anti-polio program is ramping up efforts to address and contain the outbreak.
